Another excellent offering from SRM

Bladeshape is somewhat similar to that of the Kershaw Bel Air (which is one of my favorite folders), but this one has a little more reach and a little less belly. As for sharpness, this one came razor sharp as did every other SRM I own, while my second Bel Air had a rather obtuse edge. Ofcourse 14C28 does require regular stropping to keep a super-keen edge, but that's really not an issue.
The Medal also fills the hand a little bit better than the Bel Air does, and ofcourse the pricing is a fair bit friendlier. So the Bel Airs are for fancy and this one's to work with. Oh, did I mention that I find it a beautiful knife?

I do have two suggestions for improvement: The blade could do with a stonewash finish so that the first few scratches don't stand out so much. Also I would like to see a premium version with carbonfiber scales (or inlays) and something like a 3V blade or maybe a 'hamon style' composite blade😎
