Just my opinion, but to me, the perfect EDC blade should be light, strong, sharp and easy to maintain. My ideal blade length is between 3 and 3.5. This SRM folder checks all the boxes. It even has a cross-bar lock version of the Axis lock which is a proven, super-strong, easy to use lock that keeps my fingers out of the blade path when closing.
The dense, G10 scales dont feel cheap at all and have just the right amount of texturing to provide a secure grip. The stainless steel liners are skeletonized to relieve weight and as such, this 3.5 folder weighs in at a svelte 3.4 ounces. One ounce/inch of blade length is considered the gold standard of a well designed folder. All in all, this is a well built, well designed EDC knife at a great price!
